8.7. Site Variances

When a commitment is not-complete, you need to assign it a variance. 

You can review the list of the out-of-box variances and modify the list to suite your company standards.  If production has already started on a project, we recommend that you do not rename the variances list but rather set the status of the variances you do not wish to use to off and create new items in the list.  This way if they were already assigned to tasks, you do not alter the intent of what was previously assigned.

A variance item can also be assigned to a specific project or to all projects.  Leave the project pull down blank to assign the new variance to all projects.
