8.4. Site Disciplines
A Discipline is simply a tag to group users in addition to the company tag. You can set up new Disciplines from the Global section of the Setup.
A user must belong to a Company and can be optionally associated with a Discipline. This gives you the flexibility to separate users in a multi-discipline company and color code their tasks by the discipline color or the company color.
To change the way vPlanner applies colors to the tasks, see the Preferences menu Company or Affiliation settings. If you pick Affiliation, the discipline color will be used when it is defined, otherwise the Company color will be used.
